Watching him glued to the TV, I felt lazy to get out of the bed ... IPL has just started and I didnt think he'll get out any time soon. It was getting late for me though ... to pick up my stuff and leave.
He gave me a few glances in between almost asking "R u not going?" and seeing that I am not picking up the clue, he even looked at the watch once ... Aahh ... I gotta get up now ...
So there ... I got up ... looked around for my cloths lying around and picked them up from all over the place. This may be the last time am doing this and tomorrow my place will be taken over by her!
A little later I was ready with my hand bag and gave him a last smile. He pointed to the hair band lying at the table. Yup ... I shud not leave any traces behind... I picked up the hair band and had a final look around to make sure that there are no more traces ... and turned to him again!
"When is she coming?"
"10"
"Its already 8" ... I looked at my watch ... "I better leave!"
"Shud I drop u?"
"Dont make false promises" ... I smiled "I will say yes"
His face turned white and he came forward to hold my hands ... Sorry ... dont offer anything that u cannot keep up ... I didnt want another awkward moment and turned around to leave ... Looking behind may slow me down and so I didnt ... it was better to keep moving ... The last few days were fun ... but its all over now ...
